The U.K. is an island surrounded by some of the most treachrous seas in the world.  Over the years lighthouses have been built in an attempt to protect ships from the perilous stretches of sea close to the coastline. 

I have a personal challenge to visit and photograph every lighthouse in the U.K.  A small challenge which may take some time.  

Fitted around family holidays and day trips, these will not be showing beautiful sunsets and raging storms, but lighthouses on a normal non-descript day.
