All was calm on the feeders. Sparrows were going about their day. Goldfinches busy with nyjer seeds. Long tailed tits fussing and chasing around in their busy flock.
From nowhere, the feeders went quiet. At the same moment there was a flash along the full length of the feeders. Talons out and attempting to grab the sparrowhawk arrived.
Looking fed up, she sat at the end of the feeders contemplating where it all went so wrong before heading off to hunt for less agile and aware targets for a small snack.
